A multi-day Kuchipudi intensive in the heart of New York, open to all at Gibney Dance Studios (280 Broadway)

Please join us for an open rehearsal and demonstration with Yamini Kalluri and the Kriyta Ensemble at Adelphi University! This event is part of the Global Arts Festival which is hosted by the Bhisé Center for Global Understanding, and the Departments of Art, Dance, English, Music, and Theatre.

Apply to be a part of the upcoming New York Kuchipudi Festival, organized by the Kritya Foundation. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by Kritya's Artistic Director and Ensemble members. Selected applicants will be notified after all applications are reviewed.

We invite you to join us in this celebration of Kuchipudi as we honor its Telugu roots and share its profound beauty with the world.

We’re thrilled to announce a self-produced private showing exclusively for our close friends and family on January 3rd—an intimate prelude to our premiere at Krishna Gana Sabha. Thanks to a last-minute venue discovery, we’ll present high-quality music and dance while capturing the magic on film.

Yamini will be accompanied by Andreas König, an internationally acclaimed pianist who has performed both as a concert soloist and as part of orchestras. He is currently a piano lecturer and supervisor at Delhi Music Society.

The National Folk Festival is excited to announce a special program for November 16, 2024. The one-day kickoff event will provide a taste of the nation’s premier celebration of the artistic traditions of all Americans.
